Finance Sr. Assistant

Job Description Summary:

The Senior Finance Assistant supports the Finance Officer and Finance Manager in managing financial operations, including processing transactions, monitoring payables and receivables, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and process finance requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Maintain and update accounts payable records and monitor outstanding obligations.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including monitoring collections and managing undeposited checks.
• Follow up on collections, including documentation required for regulatory compliance such as BIR Form 2307.
• Manage the Petty Cash Fund, ensuring timely replenishment and proper documentation.
• Assist and review financial reports, including expense reports, collection monitoring, and check monitoring.
• Support BIR filing and other compliance-related activities.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded in the financial system.
• Assist in the periodic audit of inventory and fixed assets.
• Perform ad hoc finance tasks and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
