About the role

We are seeking a Finance Staff member to join our accounting team at our South Tangerang, Banten office on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our organisation through the preparation, processing and analysis of financial records and transactions. This position is essential to ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing reliable financial information to support management decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and recording daily financial transactions in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Preparing and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Reviewing invoices, expense reports and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Performing bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
• Supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assisting with audit preparations and providing required documentation to auditors
• Maintaining detailed financial records and ensuring proper filing and documentation
• Identifying and reporting any irregularities or discrepancies in financial records
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What we're looking for

• Proficient in daily and monthly bank reconciliation processes, and able to identify and resolve transaction discrepancies.
• Familiar with the flow of cash receipts and disbursement transactions via banks.
• Strong understanding of financial data reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in document archiving and filing processes.
• Familiar with accounting software.
