Finance Supervisor

Payment

• Supervise and oversee daily payment transactions and ensure payment vouchers are properly prepared and processed.
• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments via various methods (e.g., bank transfer, cheque, online platforms).
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.

Collection

• Oversee customer billing and ensure invoices are issued accurately and in accordance with contractual terms and supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up with customers on overdue payments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and collection issues and support effective receivables management.
• Monitor collection performance and provide updates on significant overdue accounts to management

Banking & Cash Management

• Prepare and update detailed weekly Bank Balance Reports, including breakdowns by account.
• Monitor daily cash flow and support the manager in financial planning and cash position analysis.
• Coordinate and liaise with banks regarding banking transactions, including letters of guarantee, opening and closing of bank accounts, and other banking matters.
• Ensure adequate cash availability to support the company's operational and payment requirements.

Team & Process Management

• Supervise, guide, and support finance team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily tasks.
• Review work processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, internal controls, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
• Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial analysis and other finance-related projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline;
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with supervisory or team-leading experience
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, month-end closing,
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and can multi-task.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think outside the box.
• Meticulous and able to verify the accuracy of information and documents.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
