Finance Supervisor

About the role

Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking a Finance Supervisor to join our Supply Chain & Logistics Division. This is a full-time position based in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Finance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial processes within our warehouse and distribution facilities. This position is integral to maintaining our financial controls, supporting operational efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations and Finance Business Partnering with different Business Units.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily financial transactions and accounting operations within the warehouse and distribution centre
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices
• Prepare and review financial reports, statements and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and financial forecasting for the warehousing and distribution operations
• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
• Liaise with other departments to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth coordination between finance and operations
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and relevant financial regulations
• With Finance Business Partnering task.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within warehousing, logistics or distribution environments
• Proven supervisory experience managing finance or accounting teams
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous
• Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles, practices and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements, reports and reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is preferred
