Finance Supervisor

The Accounting Team Lead / Supervisor will manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team and ensure that assigned transactions, reconciliations, reports, and payment requests are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily accounting tasks and monitor team workloads.
• Review completed work before submission or posting.
• Track team deadlines and ensure timely completion of reports.
• Coach Accounting Associates on proper accounting procedures.
• Conduct regular one-on-one feedback and performance discussions.
• Assist team members in resolving complex reconciliation issues.
• Review payment requests and accounting documents.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding pending transactions and discrepancies.
• Maintain department trackers and monitor productivity.
• Recommend workflow improvements to reduce errors and processing delays.
• Escalate significant accounting issues to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising accounting staff.
• Experience handling daily accounting operations and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
