FINANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, with a strong focus on accounts receivable, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures the accuracy of financial records, proper monitoring and reconciliation of receivables, timely preparation and filing of tax returns, and compliance with applicable Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations. The Finance Supervisor also supports financial planning, internal controls, and the effective management of the organization's financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable Management

• Oversee accounts receivable transactions, billing, invoicing, and account monitoring.
• Monitor outstanding balances and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Prepare and review accounts receivable aging reports and account statements.
• Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing concerns, payment records, and account adjustments.

2. Taxation and BIR Compliance

• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of applicable tax returns in accordance with BIR regulations and deadlines.
• Ensure the accurate computation and proper recording of withholding taxes, income taxes, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable taxes.
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements, including tax remittances, invoicing regulations, and supporting documentation, as applicable.
• Prepare and review tax schedules, reconciliations, and reports.

3. Financial Reporting and Accounting

• Supervise the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and periodic financial summaries.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial documents.
• Monitor cash flow, income, expenses, and other key financial indicators.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial reports.

4. Team Supervision and Internal Controls

• Supervise and provide guidance to finance personnel handling accounting, accounts receivable, and tax-related tasks.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard organizational funds and assets.
• Review financial transactions and ensure proper authorization and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management, billing, and account reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance processes.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing applicable BIR tax returns and remittances.
• Knowledge of withholding taxes, VAT, income tax, and other applicable tax regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet reporting and tax filing deadlines.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
