FINANCE SUPERVISOR

About the role

This role involves managing financial processes, supplier payments, and accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure supplier, vendor, and third-party payment processes comply with company procedures, including document completeness, payment timing, and proper storage
• Record all financial transactions to produce accurate and timely financial reports as required by the company
• Verify document completeness and validate all transaction data within projects
• Prepare project budgets and conduct verification, monitoring, and analysis of budget versus actual performance in a structured and systematic manner
• Verify all payment processes, from budget submissions (PA) and all supporting documentation
• Create and prepare invoices related to company sales and purchase transactions and establish organized and informative recording systems
• Archive all departmental documents to facilitate data traceability and administrative order
• Assist in preparing financial reports (daily, monthly, and annual) and reconcile accounts in financial reports with existing data
• Prepare company documents for correspondence purposes and draft contract documents

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Economics or Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field (preferably in marine services)
• Proficient in Ms. Office (Ms. Excel, Word, Power Point) and familiar with accounting software/systems
• Passive English language skills (spoken and written); basic Mandarin is an added advantage
• Understanding of standard company business processes and ability to work in teams and coordinate with all company departments
• Willing to undertake business travel outside the city when required
