Finance Supervisor (Thailand)

About the role

Lead the on-site finance team, oversee daily financial operations, and provide timely and accurate reports to headquarters. Implement corporate policies and manage on-site budgeting, forecasting, standard cost updates, and variance analysis. Ensure tax compliance, manage risks, and avoid unnecessary compliance costs. Act as a business partner to drive sales, control costs, and reduce working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on-site finance team and manage and develop the local team
• Oversee daily financial operations and provide timely and accurate reports to headquarters
• Implement corporate policies and manage on-site budgeting, forecasting, standard cost updates, and variance analysis
• Ensure tax compliance, manage risks, and avoid unnecessary compliance costs
• Act as a business partner to drive sales, control costs, and reduce working capital
• Liaise with external auditors and brokers regarding IPO processes and audits
• Coordinate with local banks and government authorities for reporting, tax refund applications, and certificate renewals
• Serve as a reviewer and approver for site capital expenditures (Capex); manage assets and conduct physical asset inventories
• Oversee and track on-site balance sheet items, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), other receivables (OR), other payables (OP), and intercompany account reconciliations
• Lead annual physical inventory counts

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance manager or supervisor role within a multinational corporation
• Proficient in local and international accounting standards
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly skilled in SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Strong English reading and writing proficiency
• A collaborative team player with a flexible approach
• Capable of working under pressure to complete tasks and projects efficiently and effectively
• CPD (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is preferred
