Finance Transformation Associate

Who are we?

We are the University of Cambridge’s presence in Singapore, Cambridge CARES. Our activities are sponsored by the National Research Foundation’s CREATE programme. Our portfolio of research programmes include collaborations between the University of Cambridge, Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, Tohoku University, Imperial College London, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), amongst others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Finance transformation and process improvement project.
• Support data collection, input, reconciliation and validation.
• Assist with Finance system implementation, testing and user acceptance testing.
• Work with Finance and other business teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support any other Finance or admin duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification Diploma in Accountancy or Business.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or Project Support.
• Good understanding of basic Finance and accounting processes.
• Good Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Experience in Finance transformation, ERP implementation or process improvement is an advantage.

Please note that this post is mainly based in the CREATE Tower at NUS University Town, Singapore.

When is position available and for how long?

The position is available for an immediate start and is offered on a temporary contract of six months.

Company Overview

The Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) was established in 2013 as the University of Cambridge’s first research centre outside the UK. It brings together researchers from the University of Cambridge, Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore to work on problems relevant to Singapore and the world at large. Cambridge CARES is funded by the Singapore government through its Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE).
