Finance Transformation Contractors – Oracle ERP Implementation

Two day-rate opportunities | Financial Services

I'm recruiting for two qualified accountants to support a major Oracle ERP implementation within the Group Finance function of a Financial Services business.

Both are hands-on, delivery-focused assignments and would suit accountants who enjoy getting into the detail of finance systems, reconciliations and project delivery.

Opportunity 1: UAT

You'll support the Finance team through user acceptance testing, data validation, cutover preparation, go-live and post-implementation support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing Finance UAT scripts, validating accounting outputs and tracking defects.
• Reconciling migrated balances and investigating discrepancies.
• Supporting cutover readiness, go-live and hypercare.
• Documenting future-state Finance processes and controls.

Opportunity 2: Data Migration

You'll focus on validating, cleansing, mapping and reconciling legacy finance data ahead of migration from SunSystems to Oracle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing GL, chart of accounts, master data and open AP/AR items.
• Identifying and resolving data-quality issues.
• Supporting data mapping and reconciliation between legacy and Oracle systems.
• Preparing exception reports, migration evidence and documentation for Finance sign-off.

Who I'm looking for

Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills and a practical, hands-on approach.

Previous ERP implementation, finance transformation, UAT or data migration experience would be advantageous.

Oracle experience is preferred for the UAT role, while SunSystems experience is particularly desirable for the data migration position.
