Finance Transformation Lead

The Finance Transformation Lead is responsible for leading finance transformation initiatives across the Fibers business, driving the transition, standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement of finance processes within a global shared services environment. The role will partner closely with regional finance teams, manufacturing sites, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and well-controlled Record-to-Report (R2R) processes while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

This position requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong leadership capabilities, deep SAP expertise, and proven experience managing large-scale finance transformation programs in multinational manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process transitions, standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement across the Fibers business.
• Drive Record-to-Report (R2R) operations, ensuring timely month-end close, accurate financial reporting, and management reporting (Blue Book/MIS).
• Leverage SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC to improve reporting, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop standardized finance processes, strengthen internal controls, and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Regional Finance Managers, Plant Controllers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective finance solutions and drive business performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing shared services finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive change management initiatives and ensure successful execution of finance transformation projects across multiple geographies.
• Monitor key performance metrics and ensure compliance with corporate policies, governance, and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 12–15 years of progressive finance experience within multinational organizations.
• Proven experience leading finance teams of at least 10 professionals.
• Extensive experience in Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environments.
• Strong track record leading finance transformation, process migration, and post-transition optimization initiatives.
• Experience within complex, multi-product manufacturing organizations operating across multiple geographies.
• Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, financial reporting, management reporting, and process governance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC is essential.
• Experience with Workday or other Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems is an advantage.
