What they need
Company Description DFW Wealth Strategies partners with financial professionals to build and scale independent practices with flexibility and control. Founded by an advisor and supported by Guardian Life, Park Avenue Securities, and Living Balance Sheet, the firm offers access to trusted products, proven tools, and a dedicated support team. Advisors benefit from competitive compensation, robust benefits, collaborative teaming, and a planning process designed to drive measurable growth. The firm provides a “lab” environment to test strategies and systems, helping advisors deliver confident, client-centered advice. DFW Wealth Strategies is independently operated and not an affiliate or subsidiary of Park Avenue Securities or Guardian.
Role Description This full-time Financial Advisor role is hybrid, based in Texas with flexibility for some work from home. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their goals, assess current financial situations, and develop comprehensive financial plans covering areas such as investments, retirement, protection, and cash flow. The role involves recommending appropriate financial products and strategies, implementing and monitoring plans, and adjusting recommendations as client needs and market conditions change. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and networking, conducting client reviews, preparing financial analyses, maintaining compliance and documentation, and collaborating with internal teams for planning support. The advisor will use firm-provided tools and systems to deliver a high-quality, values-driven client experience while building a sustainable, growth-oriented practice. We work to obtain Life and Health, series 7/66, or series 66 if needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to design and deliver comprehensive, client-focused strategies.
- Knowledge of Finance and Investments to analyze portfolios, evaluate risk, and recommend suitable solutions.

- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred; relevant licenses (e.g., FINRA registrations, insurance licenses) or willingness to obtain them.
- Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisory roles is beneficial but not strictly required for highly motivated candidates.
