Financial Advisor / Relationship Manager

We are an independent wealth management firm in Morton, IL, and we are hiring an experienced Financial Advisor to take over management of an existing book of business immediately. If you love the advisory and relationship-building side of wealth management but are looking for a role with very limited sales and prospecting requirements, this is the perfect career move.  What you'll do

• Take over and manage an established, active book of client relationships from day one
• Conduct comprehensive financial planning, portfolio reviews, and ongoing strategy meetings with clients
• Serve as the primary point of contact for our existing clients, ensuring top-tier service and retention
• Implement investment strategies and financial plans tailored to each client's unique long-term goals
• Collaborate with our internal operations and planning support team to streamline the client experience

What you need

• 4+ years of experience as a financial advisor or relationship manager in wealth management
• Active Series 65, Series 66, or CFP designation
• Deep understanding of financial planning concepts, tax strategies, and investment management
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with a track record of retaining client trust
• Ability to work full-time onsite at our Morton, IL office (Peoria metro area)

Nice to have

• Prior experience utilizing financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, RightCapital) and CRM systems
• Experience handling complex client cases or multi-generational wealth transition planning
