Job Title: DC Commercial Executive

Role Purpose

To manage the commercial and financial operations of Distribution Centres (DCs), ensuring effective cost control, budget adherence, and commercial compliance while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control depot operating costs against budgets.
• Track key cost drivers such as manpower, transportation, rentals, utilities, security, housekeeping, and other warehouse expenses.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and vendors for issue resolution and smooth commercial processes.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards on depot costs and performance.
• Support monthly closing activities, accruals, and budget/forecast exercises.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercial efficiency and governance.
• Assist in commercial negotiations where required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA preferred
• 3–6 years of experience in commercial finance, warehouse finance, supply chain finance, or depot operations.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, or warehousing will be an added advantage

Key Skills

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – Excel Skills mandator
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
