Financial Analysis Senior Supervisor

A taste of what the role entails:

Manages the day-to-day oversight and operational activities of analysts supporting the accounts receivable process. This leader is responsible for using active management behaviors to lead a team that is responsible for: analysis and interpretation of financial information, identifying trends/variances, provides recommendations for adjustments, prepares financial reports and documents, as well as administer risk management and loss prevention programs to maintain maximum protection of the organization's assets at the most economical rates.  As well as building a high-accountability team culture from the ground up, driving strong operational discipline, and managing a high volume of early-stage escalations.

This role serves as both the accountability driver for the team and a visible advocate who protects the team's capacity, credibility, and standards in interactions with U.S.-based stakeholders and partners. Responsibilities can change based on business need.

Requirements (including qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience managing people.

• Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with and influence internal partners at different levels.

• Ability to grasp and present complex financial, accounting, and risk-assessment concepts with appropriate attention to detail.

• Drive for results; comfortable and effective in dealing with ambiguity; succeeds in resolving conflict; able to get things done in a remote/virtual environment.

• Flexibility for periodic overtime and availability during U.S. business hours.

• Experience in a Billing/Receivables operation (understanding the end-to-end billing cycle from invoice generation through collection and reconciliation).

• Ability to lead client and internal partner meetings on video.

• Ability to explain complex billing and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills.

• Ability to balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and financial risk.

• Sound judgment when evaluating exceptions to standard processes.

• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and resolve competing priorities.

Preferred

• Experience leading a new team preferred

• Healthcare insurance or financial services experience.

• Knowledge of multiple systems; general knowledge of insurance products, procedures, and systems.
