Financial Analyst & Controller

Financial Analyst & Controller – Base in Lamphun

Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst & Controller to support financial planning, reporting, cost control, and business performance across its European manufacturing sites. The role will partner with local management and operations teams to improve profitability, control costs, manage working capital, and support effective business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly P&L and Free Cash Flow analysis, including actual vs. budget vs. ROFO, and provide controller comments.
• Drive cost variance analysis with production teams, including production variance, PPV, and overhead.
• Monitor cost-saving and productivity projects and drive accountability for results.
• Support annual/quarterly budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Free Cash Flow.
• Coordinate annual standard cost roll-up and analyze purchase price, material efficiency, labour efficiency, and labour rate variances.
• Evaluate CAPEX requests, develop ROI business cases, monitor spending, and conduct follow-up reviews.
• Partner with operations and local management to provide financial insights and drive business performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing in discrete manufacturing and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong financial analysis, business planning, problem-solving, and capital investment experience.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong ERP/IT skills; SAP and AI-based analytics experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in an international environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Good command of written and spoken business English.
