Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall financial management of J&T Express Malaysia subsidiaries.

• Supervise daily financial operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness in general ledger management, month‑end closing, and financial reporting.
• Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes.
• Conduct comprehensive business, cost, profitability, and variance analyses, providing forward‑looking insights and recommendations to support management decision‑making.
• Establish and maintain a robust KPI framework to monitor business performance and drive departments toward achieving financial targets.
• Prepare MIS reports and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate investment projects, product pricing, and business proposals for financial feasibility to support strategic planning.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management to optimize cash flow and improve working capital efficiency.
• Lead cost accounting and cost control initiatives.
• Establish, review, and continuously improve internal control and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
• Lead, guide, and develop the finance team to enhance overall capability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial management experience, with FP&A or management accounting background; experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industries is an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost analysis, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Solid knowledge of MFRS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Proven team leadership experience with excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
