Duties

• Develop comprehensive financial projection models to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify discrepancies between forecasted and actual financial performance.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements by ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) standards.
• Perform cost accounting analyses to optimize pricing strategies and improve profitability.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and Excel data analysis techniques to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Write detailed financial reports that communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Conduct technical accounting reviews related to corporate finance activities, including investment analysis and organizational cost structures.

Experience

• Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP and IFRS, with practical experience applying them in real-world scenarios.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Demonstrated ability in developing financial models using Excel or specialized software for forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Experience conducting variance analysis reporting and interpreting financial statements for strategic decision-making.
• Background in SOX compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal controls is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong data analysis skills combined with a solid understanding of finance concepts such as corporate finance, budgeting, pricing, sales, investment evaluation, and cost management.
