Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial projection models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Perform cost accounting analyses to optimize expense management and improve profitability.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and other statutory obligations.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software to generate insightful reports for management review.
• Interpret complex financial data, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, to inform strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the development of financial forecasting analysis and budgeting processes aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing strategies, investment analysis, and organizational finance projects.
• Maintain strong knowledge of accounting systems and technical accounting standards to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting or related finance roles with a focus on financial analysis or reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial model development, including financial forecasting analysis and business intelligence applications.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance, regulatory reporting standards, GAAP, IFRS, and corporate finance principles.
• Proficiency in Excel data analysis, financial software tools, and accounting systems for data extraction and report generation.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of variance analysis reporting, profit & loss management, cost accounting, and budgeting processes.
• Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial report writing and interpretation for diverse audiences.
• Data analysis skills combined with quantitative analysis expertise to support strategic planning initiatives.
