This Finance Analyst role is a key position within the business unit and Finance team, supporting month-end, forecasting and reporting processes, while assisting with the coordination of financial and business planning activities.

This role reports to the Finance Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of high-quality finance reporting for internal stakeholders, including month-end and wider business reporting, to build a clear understanding of performance, growth and profitability drivers.
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue and cost transactions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This may include reviewing and analysing contracts with the FBP to determine appropriate revenue recognition.
• Maintain clear ownership of key finance controls, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring issues are identified, documented and escalated promptly.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on the monthly invoicing process, ensuring invoices are raised accurately, on time and supported by appropriate documentation.
• Assist the Finance Business Partner at month-end by interrogating data, reconciling forecasts to actuals and preparing detailed, quantifiable explanations for variances against comparative periods.
• Work closely with the Business Controlling team at month-end to post working journals ensuring a high-level of accuracy and prompt execution.
• Work through weekly and monthly processes around our partner rebates, cost recognition, sales data accuracy and others.
• Ensure reporting data is stored, collected, and integrated efficiently, aligned with group quality and privacy guidelines.
• Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support product investment, pricing, margin optimisation and strategic decision-making.
• Develop, track and analyse key product and financial KPIs, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and translating data into actionable insight.
• Develop effective relationships across the business, supporting finance systems, process improvements and optimisation to improve reporting quality, efficiency and decision support.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Professionally qualified in Finance/Accounting (or qualified by experience), with at least 2 years’ experience in finance and analyst roles.
• Highly numerate with strong analytical capability; able to interpret large datasets and convert them into clear, decision-useful insights.
• Diligent and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, controls and data quality (including consistent documentation and audit trail).
• Goal orientated, able to prioritise effectively and deliver to tight month-end and forecasting deadlines.
• Outcome focused and proactive, taking ownership to identify issues early and drive improvements to reporting, process and performance.
