Financial Analyst

Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial projection models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Analyze profit & loss statements to evaluate operational performance and provide actionable insights.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and other relevant standards.
• Perform cost accounting analysis to optimize pricing strategies and improve profit margins.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software for data analysis, visualization, and presentation of key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Interpret complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders through clear financial report writing and presentations.
• Conduct account analysis using accounting systems to ensure accuracy of financial data and facilitate audit processes.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proven experience in financial sales analysis, pricing strategies, and investment evaluation.
• Expertise in corporate accounting practices, including technical accounting procedures.
• Skilled in developing financial models for projection analysis and scenario planning.
• Proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Excel data analysis functions, financial reporting software, and business intelligence platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Advanced data analysis skills combined with a solid understanding of finance concepts such as profit & loss management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Strong quantitative analysis capabilities to interpret large datasets accurately.
• Familiarity with finance systems integration and automation to streamline reporting processes.
• Effective communication skills for clear interpretation of financial reports and presentations to diverse audiences.
