Financial Analyst

A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis across multiple business areas.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: On-site

Responsibilities:

• Prepare forecasts, budgets, budget templates, reports, and variance analyses
• Analyze financial results and identify key business drivers to support leadership decisions
• Develop working relationships with directors, managers, and other stakeholders across departments
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses for assigned practice areas and lines of business
• Use financial data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and enhance reporting processes

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Financial Analysis experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field
• Experience preparing forecasting models, budgets, financial analysis, and management reporting
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Hyperion or EPM
• Strong knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including macros and pivot tables
• Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Tableau or SQL
• Experience in a nonprofit or multi-business-unit environment
• Background in FP&A or management reporting within a larger organization
