Financial Analyst

Job Summary

IB Group is looking for a Financial Analyst with strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting to join our expanding ERP consulting practice supporting international enterprises with financial system setup, configuration, and reporting. You'll work closely with senior consultants and finance teams to support clients implementing robust financial processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, while helping ensure compliance with International GAAP and IFRS standards using the system's built-in reporting capabilities. This is a client-exposed role where you'll assist in delivering ERP financial solutions, working alongside consultants who engage directly with CFOs, finance teams, and auditors.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (M.Com, MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification)
• Must have 3–4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
• Must have a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Must have a basic understanding of cost accounting concepts such as variance analysis, inventory costing, or activity-based costing.
• Must have a solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and internal control frameworks.
• Must be proficient in MS Excel; exposure to a financial system/ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Dynamics 365, or similar) is a plus.
• Must have excellent spoken and written English suitable for daily interaction with international clients.
• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA), or progress toward such certification.
• Prior exposure to enterprise consulting, financial advisory, or ERP implementation environments.
• Hands-on exposure to Financial Reporting add-ins, Management Reporter, or similar built-in ERP reporting tools.
• Experience or internships supporting US-based or international clients.
• Background in manufacturing, retail, or professional services sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Support the configuration and setup of chart of accounts, fiscal calendars, and cost accounting structures within ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance).
• Assist in mapping and validating financial data during system migrations.
• Help design and customize financial statements, management reports, and dashboards using ERP native reporting tools.
• Build financial models and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Monitor company expenses, revenues, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with internal departments and clients to collect and validate financial data.
• Support senior consultants during client requirements-gathering sessions and documentation of SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, GAAP/IFRS standards, and internal policies.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and client stakeholders.

Skills Screening
