Financial Analyst

Metric Geo is partnering with a leading global manufacturer of industrial technology and instrumentation solutions to appoint a Financial Analyst for its US operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established international organization, playing a key role in financial reporting, business intelligence and data-driven decision-making across its North American operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations and IT leadership to improve financial visibility, develop reporting capabilities and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and KPIs to support strategic business decisions
• Partner with Finance and senior leadership to provide insights into financial performance, forecasting and operational efficiency
• Design, develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Analyze complex financial and operational datasets to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
• Drive automation of manual reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Support financial planning, cost management and business performance analysis
• Collaborate with IT and global teams on ERP improvements, data integration and reporting standardization
• Improve data governance, reporting consistency and overall data quality
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI, Microsoft Copilot and process automation to improve financial workflows
• Provide training and support to business stakeholders on analytical tools and reporting platforms

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3–5+ years of experience across Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
• Strong experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX and data visualization
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA and macros
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable commercial insights
• Experience with financial reporting, KPI development and business performance analysis
• Exposure to ERP systems, data governance and reporting automation
• Experience with AI-driven analytics, Microsoft Copilot or robotic process automation would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across Finance, Sales, Operations and IT
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or a related analytical discipline
