Financial Analyst

About the role

This role supports group-level financial reporting by preparing consolidated financial statements, reviewing intercompany elimination data from each entity, and accurately calculating Non-Controlling Interests (NCI), ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports for the Group.
• Collect, review, and validate financial data submitted by subsidiaries.
• Review and reconcile intercompany balances and elimination entries across group entities.
• Prepare and verify Non-Controlling Interest (NCI) calculations, including profit attribution and equity movements.
• Assist in variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Prior Year) and provide explanatory commentary.
• Maintain and update consolidation schedules, ownership structures, and reporting templates.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries for groups.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, group accounting policies, and reporting deadlines.
• Identify data inconsistencies and follow up with entity finance teams for resolution.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA Part 2 or CPA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or audit within a multi-entity group
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations for group consolidation and experience in NCI calculation and intercompany eliminations
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools and proficiency in accounting software; SAP HANA will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical & presentation abilities and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaborative working with the team
• Strong organizational and time management skills and interest in process improvement
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
