Financial Analyst

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join an established organization's finance team. This role will focus on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing business performance to support operational and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a solid accounting and finance background, and the ability to work with financial data to identify trends and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key financial trends.
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models, dashboards, and reports.
• Analyze operational costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with financial data consolidation and reporting through ERP systems.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills required , including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, dashboards, and financial modeling.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or an operational finance environment.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and margin analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Exposure to month-end close and financial planning processes.
