Financial Analyst

A growing, fast-paced technology company is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Strategic Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, this person will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, helping translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct budget vs. actuals analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop scenario models to evaluate business strategies and potential financial outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
• Prepare clear financial commentary and reporting for stakeholders across the business.
• Leverage advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and emerging AI tools to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
• Apply accounting knowledge to support accurate financial reporting and month-end close processes.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within technology or another fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to FP&A planning platforms - Pigment experience desired
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, alongside automation or scripting, to improve workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with scenario modeling, financial forecasting tools, or ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Additional Details

• Travel required approximately 2–4 times per year, for 4–5 business days per trip.
