Financial Analyst

• Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Build and update spreadsheets (primarily in Microsoft Excel) to project future revenue, expenses, and cash flows for budgeting and planning.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Examine income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, tracking financial ratios like gross margin, return on equity (ROE), and net margin.
• Research and Market Analysis: Study macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and competitor performance to spot risks and opportunities.
• Reporting and Presentations: Translate complex data into charts, dashboards, and pitchbooks using tools like PowerPoint, Bloomberg, or FactSet to advise senior management or fund managers.
• Valuation and Risk Assessment: Determine the fair value of a company or asset using methods like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) or Comparable Company Analysis, while measuring credit or market risk
• Corporate Financial Analysts (FP&A): Work inside a company's finance or accounting department to handle internal budgeting, cost tracking, and operational forecasting.
• Buy-Side & Sell-Side Analysts ("Wall Street"): Work for investment banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, or brokerage firms researching stocks, bonds, and securities to guide portfolio or client investments.
• Risk Specialists / Credit Analysts:
