JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the Maintenance/Facilities organization through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational insights. Partners with maintenance leadership to monitor spending, identify cost trends, improve financial visibility, and support informed business decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and monitor maintenance of OPEX and CAPEX budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.
• Analyze work order, labor, vendor, repair, and maintenance spending trends.
• Partner with field and maintenance leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track maintenance KPIs, spending performance, and operational drivers.
• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Validate financial data and investigate variances, billing issues, and unusual spending.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and financial models.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for maintenance initiatives, contracts, and programs.
• Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and business cases.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

• Financial Analysis – Ability to analyze spending, costs, and financial performance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Understanding of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Excel Proficiency – Ability to build spreadsheets, financial models, and analysis.
• Data Analysis – Ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends or opportunities.
• Variance Analysis – Ability to identify and explain differences between actuals, budget, and forecast.
• Reporting & Dashboards – Ability to create clear financial and operational reports.
• Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy of financial data, reporting, and analysis.
• Business Partnering – Ability to work effectively with maintenance and field operations teams.
• Problem Solving – Ability to investigate issues and develop practical solutions.
• Communication Skills – Ability to clearly communicate financial results and insights to leadership and operations.
