Financial Analyst (Pioneer Team)

About the opportunity:
Here is your opportunity to work with Guam-based companies (USA) without leaving the Philippines. We are building a new finance shared services center in the Philippines that will service a group of established companies in Guam. As part of our pioneer team, you will work directly with Guam counterparts, gain US-territory client experience, and help set up the processes, standards and culture from day one.

What you'll do:

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for 4 assigned Guam companies
• Prepare bank reconciliations and support the month-end close
• Analyze variances against budget and prior periods and write short commentary
• Support costing analysis for vessel and service operations
• Help design reporting templates as a pioneer member

What we're looking for:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy; CPA is an advantage
• 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Clear written English for reports and commentary
• Shipping or maritime exposure is a plus

Work Setup:

• Supports clients based in Guam (USA)
• Work hours may follow Guam business hours (Guam is 2 hours ahead of Manila), e.g., 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Philippine time, Monday to Friday; overtime may be needed at month-end
• On-site at our Makati office
