Finance Assistant (Temp – 4 to 6 weeks)

Holborn (3 days) + Home (2 days)

£17.50–£18 per hour + holiday pay

A sharp, reliable Finance Assistant is needed for an immediate‑start assignment supporting a busy professional membership secretariat. You’ll keep the finance function running smoothly across income, expenditure, invoicing and general admin - with accuracy, pace and great stakeholder care.

What you’ll be doing

• Processing bank transactions, invoices, subscriptions and payments with precision
• Managing sales and purchase ledger tasks
• Supporting year‑end prep, reconciliations and auditor queries
• Providing friendly, efficient admin support to the wider team
• Handling member queries, certificates, direct debits and subscription chasing

What you’ll bring

• Solid finance admin/bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and organised working style
• Confidence using finance systems, databases and web‑based tools
• A proactive, helpful approach - happy to muck in where needed
