Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Financial Auditor at Go Physical Therapy NY. The Financial Auditor will review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Daily tasks include planning and executing financial audits, testing internal controls, identifying risks or irregularities, and preparing clear audit reports and recommendations. The role involves collaborating with finance and operations teams to improve financial processes, support budgeting and forecasting, and strengthen internal control frameworks. The Financial Auditor will also assist in developing best practices for financial oversight within the organization and may participate in periodic reviews of billing, revenue, and expense management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles.
• Proven experience conducting Financial Audits and evaluating Internal Controls to identify risks and process improvements.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in data analysis, variance analysis, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with accounting and audit software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, CIA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to ethical standards in financial review and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial findings to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical services environments is beneficial but not required.
