Financial Consultant Intern

About the role

This internship provides hands-on experience in financial planning, client engagement, business development and professional development within the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in understanding clients' financial needs and goals
• Support the preparation of basic financial planning and presentation materials
• Communicate with clients and assist with follow-ups when required
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings and professional development activities
• Assist with business development and client engagement activities
• Gain exposure to financial products, financial planning concepts and industry knowledge
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the team

About you

• Able to speak Mandarin, English and/or Bahasa Melayu
• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Strong interest in the financial services and financial planning industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Confident, proactive and comfortable interacting with different people
• Good presentation and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Responsible, motivated and willing to take on new challenges
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
