Financial Control Manager

As Cornerstone Türkiye, we are representing a global company in the search for a Manager – Financial Controlling.

The position will lead the Financial Controlling function and manage a team of finance professionals. The role is responsible for financial controlling, IFRS compliance, financial reporting, month-end closing, balance sheet review.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Controlling function and manage the controlling team.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.
• Review P&L and Balance Sheet movements and investigate significant variances.
• Oversee provisions, fixed assets, CAPEX, accruals and intercompany accounting.
• Manage statutory accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Coordinate and supervise external audit activities.
• Ensure an effective financial control environment
• Collaborate with other business functions.
• Provide financial insight and challenge to support business decisions.
• Lead, develop and coach the Financial Controlling team.

Candidate Profile

• Over 10 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong background in Financial Controlling, Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Excellent IFRS knowledge.
• Strong month-end closing and Balance Sheet experience.
• Experience managing external audit and statutory reporting processes.
• Previous team management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Experience in a multinational environment.
