Financial Controller

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the Group's accounting operations and financial closing processes, including monthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidated financial statements, inter-company reconciliations and financial record management.

• Lead Group financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with HKFRS, Group accounting policies and regulatory requirements, including statutory reporting for Hong Kong and Mainland China entities.

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial governance frameworks and risk management practices across the Group.

• Lead and coordinate statutory audits and external audit engagements, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.

• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity and continuous improvement.

• Drive finance process improvements, system enhancements and operational efficiencies to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting and finance management, with proven team leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of HKFRS, financial reporting standards, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

• Solid experience in handling consolidated financial statements and finance operations across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

• Proficiency in SAP and advanced data analytics tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
