Detailed Description

We manufacture and supply Quality Drilling equipment to the Australian & Internationally Drilling Industry.  Our clients vary from large Multi-National Drilling & Mining companies to local family-owned drilling contractors.

Growth has resulted in new companies, new software and 70+ employees.  With this growth comes new product lines and developing markets, an exciting time to join the team.

We currently require a Qualified CPA or Chartered Accountant with 5 or more years’ experience in Commerce, preferably manufacturing or warehouse logistics, but not essential to:

• Supervise the existing 2 accounts persons on correct account coding for meaningful reporting
• Do high level month end entries
• Improve the monthly reports for management decision making
• Liaise with external Accountant and key financial stakeholders
• Report to the Managing Director

Skills and Experience

Accounting software – Currently Account Right (MYOB) is used and the business is transitioning to ODOO

Basic regular reports – are done at present, like profit & less, AP, AR, payroll and cashflow forecasting.

Assistance with typical Growing Pains – cost centres, profit centres
