Financial Controller

About the role

This position reports to the Managing Director and involves planning, reviewing and monitoring daily financial and accounting functions including financial and management accounting reports, financial analyses, costing calculation and analyses, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, tax planning, annual audits, investments planning and feasibility studies. The role requires a competent executive possessing strong analytical skills and a strong sense of integrity and ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review and monitor daily financial and accounting functions including financial and management accounting reports, financial analyses, costing calculation and analyses, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, tax planning, annual audits, investments planning and feasibility studies
• Ensure the integrity of company accounts and that all financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and control expenses and overheads to be within budgets
• Prompt delivery of all reports including monthly financial reports and performance analyses for a diversified portfolio of properties
• Ensure implementation of proper internal control procedures and compliance with group accounting and control policies
• Company secretarial duties
• High level administrative matters and policies, internal control, corporate IT system design and management

About you

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines
• ACCA/HKICPA qualified
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the role of financial controller preferably in the real estate industry
• Strong management, leadership, analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills
• Experience in SAP and Flex Accounting System
• Proficiency in computer tools
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
