Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Salary: Up to €7,000 + company car

Hybrid: 2–3 days working from home

The Opportunity:

Are you a Financial Controller looking for a role where you can do more than simply produce reports and close the books?

I'm currently working with a growing international business in Antwerp that is looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting, analysis and planning while working closely with senior management and the wider business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants commercial exposure, autonomy and the chance to develop towards a Finance Manager or Group Controller position .

Your Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the monthly and quarterly financial closing process
• Prepare and analyse management reports and financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to operational and commercial teams
• Analyse P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and key financial KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Support investment and business-case analysis
• Improve financial processes, reporting and automation
• Work closely with the CFO / Finance Director on financial projects
• Support consolidation and group reporting where required
• Act as a key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience within controlling, financial reporting or FP&A
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end closing
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
• Commercial and analytical mindset
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Dutch and English fluent
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or another ERP system is a plus
• IFRS or international reporting experience is advantageous
