Financial Controller

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage our organization’s financial activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company, requiring a strong background in financial accounting, accounting systems, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and management of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee daily financial accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
• Manage and optimize accounting systems to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Supervise finance staff and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting.

Experience

• Proven experience in financial accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Extensive experience working with accounting systems and software solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed financial analysis for strategic insights.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within finance or accounting is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.

Pay: $104,796.18 - $113,614.25 per year
