Financial Controller

Responsibility:

• Supervise weekly or regular cashflow forecast, including update of cash flow projections, make funds available on need basis;
• Prepare business plans for new investments/projects and implement necessary infrastructure set-up;
• Monitor the financial operation and performance of PRC subsidiaries and joint venture to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations;
• Liaise with PRC tax agents, legal advisors, banks, master custodian, external auditor and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations;
• Assist in accounting operation, financial management, budgeting and auditing of investment portfolios;
• Prepare financial modelling and business proposals for new projects;
• Assist in conducting periodic review on relevant accounting policies, procedures and implementation of new financial systems; and
• Responsible to coordinate the annual audit of the financial records with the independent auditors

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of supervisory experience, gained from sizeable companies
• A qualified accountant with membership of a recognised professional accounting body
• Strong analytical mind, good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and willingness to accept new challenges
• Relevant work experience in handling payment processing, treasury functions
• Good numerical sense and detailed-minded in planning/execution
• Strong leadership and organisational skills in coaching, motivating and retaining talent
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
