Financial Controller

About the role

Managing and overseeing the hotel's financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective financial controls, cost management and compliance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements, while providing financial analysis and support to Management and Department Heads to monitor business performance, control costs and improve the hotel's overall financial performance and operational efficiency.

About you

• Ability to monitor operating costs and implement strategies to control and reduce expenses while maintaining service quality
• Ability to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
• Ability to implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
• Ability to monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
• Ability to identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior finance and accounting staff
