Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will take ownership of the financial control and reporting of a fast-growing, heavily operational drone services business. The role will provide accurate financial information to management and ensure strong control of costs, cash flow and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts, financial reporting and KPIs.
• Responsible for Financial Statements, Revenue and External Audit reporting
• Manage cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
• Oversee payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Monitor project revenue, costs and profitability.
• Track, review and refine operational costs
• Support pricing, tenders and major project commercial decisions.
• Provide clear financial information, support and recommendations to the Managing Director.
• Maintain strong financial controls and improve systems/processes as the business grows.
• Liase with the Accounts Technician regarding Accounts Receivable and Payable
• Monitor and drive growth of the Finance function within the company

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong commercial and management accounting experience.
• Experience in a project-based, operational or service business is highly desirable.
• Excellent Excel/financial systems skills and strong attention to detail.
• Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable challenging costs and assumptions.
• Able to translate financial data into clear, practical actions for management team .

Pay: From €55,000.00 per year
