Financial Controller | Grand Cayman

Invenio Global is partnering with a well-established commercial business in the Cayman Islands to appoint a Financial Controller. The business is in an active growth phase and is looking for a hands-on finance leader to strengthen and develop its finance function. This role reports to the CEO and offers genuine scope to shape the function as the business scales.

The Role

• Lead the finance function, including the monthly close, management reporting, cash management and the year-end audit.
• Oversee a small finance team, AP/AR, payroll, inventory and cost control.
• Strengthen internal controls, systems and reporting processes, using modern tools and AI to drive efficiency.
• Support the CEO and external advisors on budgeting, forecasting and decision-making, and play a key role in the business's growth plans, including the integration of new entities.

About You

• A qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) with Financial Controller or senior finance experience gained in a commercial or industry environment. A financial services-only background will not be suitable for this role.
• A strong grasp of inventory, costing and margin analysis.
• Comfortable in a hands-on role, with strong Excel skills and confidence using AI tools in day-to-day reporting and analysis.
• Multi-entity or group reporting experience is a strong advantage.
