Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a growing, multi-site property business. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to take ownership of financial reporting, strengthen controls and work closely with senior leadership to support business performance.

The Role

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management across the business.
• Manage financial reporting, providing meaningful analysis and insight into business performance.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and year-end audit processes.
• Develop and improve financial controls, systems and processes to support continued growth.
• Partner with operational and senior management teams to support commercial decision-making.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong financial control experience.
• Experience within a multi-site, property or asset-intensive business is highly desirable.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to translate financial data into commercial insight.
• A proactive, hands-on individual with excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.

Salary: £60,000–£75,000, depending on experience.
