We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, ensure strong financial controls, and support strategic business decisions across our hospitality operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel finance, budgeting, financial reporting, cost control, and team leadership, with a thorough understanding of UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations, accounting activities, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial plans.
• Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, profitability, and operating costs.
• Ensure accurate revenue reporting, income audits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against budgets.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax requirements, and applicable financial reporting standards.
• Implement effective cost-control measures and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Review payroll, supplier payments, purchasing transactions, and financial commitments.
• Provide financial analysis, variance reports, and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the finance team while maintaining strong financial discipline across departments.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, department heads, and senior management to support business objectives.

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, hotel management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience managing multi-property or cluster hotel finances will be an advantage.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
