Financial Controller

At Tsebo Facilities Solutions, we are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Financial Controller to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, supporting business performance, and partnering with operational stakeholders to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review profit and loss statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance processes, and compliance standards.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and support effective working capital management.
• Review and track CAPEX expenditure against approved budgets.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights that improve business performance and profitability.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Controller or similar role
• Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting
• Sound understanding of income statements and their impact on business performance
• Experience working on D365 or a similar ERP system
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook
