Finance Controller

Base Salary: Up to $150,000 plus benefits

Thunderhawk is conducting a confidential search for a Finance Controller on behalf of a global engineering and technology services organization.

This role will be responsible for leading financial reporting, controllership, compliance, audit management, tax oversight, treasury activities, revenue recognition, and internal controls within a multinational business environment.

Key Requirements

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, and Controllership
• CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing audits, tax compliance, treasury operations, revenue recognition, and complex accounting matters
• Experience working within multinational organizations
• Big 4 or top-tier public accounting/consulting background strongly preferred
• Prior experience in technology, engineering services, consulting, or professional services organizations preferred
• M&A and post-acquisition integration experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Lead external audits and coordinate with tax advisors and regulatory bodies
• Drive improvements in internal controls, governance, and financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership on financial planning, risk management, and business growth initiatives
• Support acquisition activities and post-acquisition financial integration efforts
