Role Description The Financial Controller is a full time, on site role based in Toledo, OH, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations and reporting. This role manages the preparation and analysis of financial statements, monitors budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting. The Financial Controller supervises accounting processes, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and month end and year end close. In addition, this role supports leadership with financial insights, maintains compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls, and contributes to strategic decision making by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with Accounting and Finance in a business setting.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a growing organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, GAAP, and internal control best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Toledo, OH, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience in construction or home remodeling industries is beneficial.
