What they need

About Kor Nutra

Kor Nutra is a Utah-based contract manufacturer of nutraceutical gummies, producing private-label supplements for brands nationwide. We run multiple production facilities, including our plant in Hurricane, UT, and we're growing. Our customers count on us for quality, speed and regulatory rigor, and our finance team is central to keeping that promise.

The role

We're hiring a hands-on Financial Controller to own accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting across all of our facilities. You'll report directly to the CFO and lead a small accounting team.

  • Location: Hurricane, UT (on-site, with travel between facilities)
  • Reports to: CEO
  • Type: Full-time, exempt

This is a builder's role. You'll tighten the monthly close, sharpen product costing, strengthen controls and give leadership the numbers it needs to price, plan and grow.

What you'll do

  • Close and reporting: Run an accurate, on-time monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Deliver GAAP financial statements, management reports and a monthly flash to the CEO and ownership.
  • Cost accounting: Own standard costing, bills of materials and routings in partnership with operations. Analyze variances (material, labor, overhead, yield) and explain margin by customer, SKU, and facility.
  • Inventory: Manage raw material, WIP and finished goods accounting. Lead cycle counts and physical inventory, reserves for obsolete and expiring materials, and lot-level reconciliation.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Build the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Model pricing, quoting, capacity and capital investment decisions.
  • Cash and working capital: Manage 13-week cash forecasting, AR collections, AP, and customer deposit and payment terms. Support banking relationships and covenant compliance.
  • Controls and systems: Design and maintain internal controls and segregation of duties. Act as finance owner of the ERP and drive automation of manual processes.
  • Audit and tax: Lead annual audit or review, and coordinate with outside CPAs on income, sales/use, and property tax filings.
  • Team: Lead, train and develop accounting staff covering AP, AR, payroll and general ledger.
  • Special projects: Support acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and other strategic initiatives as the business grows.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years leading or supervising accounting staff
  • Strong command of GAAP, standard costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system and advanced Excel skills
  • Track record of shortening the close and improving reporting accuracy
  • Clear communicator who can explain the numbers to operators, owners, and lenders

Nice to have

  • CPA or CMA
  • Experience in contract manufacturing, dietary supplements, food or other FDA-regulated industries
  • Multi-site or multi-entity consolidation experience
  • Background supporting M&A, divestitures or due diligence
  • Experience implementing or optimizing an ERP
  • Familiarity with private equity or lender reporting

What we offer

  • Competitive, based on experience
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • A seat at the leadership table and direct impact on a growing manufacturer

How to apply

Apply through this posting with your resume and a short note on a close, costing or controls problem you've solved in a manufacturing business.
