We are looking for a capable, strategic, and hands-on Financial Controller to join our leadership team and grow together with the company.

This is more than a finance role — we are seeking someone who can help build a stronger financial foundation, improve internal controls, support business expansion, and prepare the company for the next level.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead full-spectrum finance and accounting functions
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and cash flow reports
• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing
• Monitor company profitability, costing, and financial performance

Internal Control & Compliance

• Strengthen internal control systems and SOP
• Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, tax, and financial regulations
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers
• Improve financial governance and reporting standards

Strategic & Business Planning

• Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Participate in expansion planning, investment analysis, and business decision-making
• Build scalable finance systems suitable for company growth and future listing preparation

Payroll & Operational Finance Oversight

• Monitor payroll structure, commission schemes, and operational costing
• Ensure proper financial controls across branches and departments
• Review business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and profitability

Leadership

• Lead and develop the finance team
• Work closely with directors and HODs to support business operations and growth

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Must be a Chartered Accountant and a current MIA member with a valid Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance/accounting leadership role
• Strong knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, and internal control
• Experience in retail, chain store, beauty, or service industry is an added advantage
• Experience in business expansion, corporate structuring, or listing preparation is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to maintain confidentiality and high professional integrity
